not after my brother in law gave my sister that videoke microphone wonder machine. after all the years of being pakipot when he would ask my ate if she wanted one of those. tapos finally my brother didnt ask anymore. he just gave it to her. period. no erase.
good thing about last night was all of us had an off key night (not that we were always on the right note when we sing) but caffeine kicked off. and we were wide awake more than ever. at the end of the day, all of us of our fair share of the grade of 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's...but its really unfair when someone not pinoy, someone who really doesnt sing would score a high 95 with a sone he just chose because that was the only english song he knew among the sea of tagalog songs..
a little more practice could land me a singing job in ASAP..the singers there are practically all the same..they really couldnt sing but they sing..
bottomline is if you know you could sing, probably you can't. just wait for some "pro" to tell you you could sing on stage ok?
for the album
just check out my pics here..click my pic..hehe
babalik ka rin

there really is no place like home to spend christmas..but spending it abroad will always be something to look forward to.
unselfishhhhh
my grown up christmas listkelly clarksonDo you remember me?
I sat upon your knee.
I wrote to you with childhood fantasies.
Well, I'm all grown up now,
And still need help somehow.
I'm not a child, but my heart still can dream.
So here's my lifelong wish,
My grown-up Christmas list,
Not for myself, but for a world in need.
No more lives torn apart,
That wars would never start,
And time would heal all hearts.
And everyone would have a friend,
And right would always win,
And love would never end, no,
This is my grown-up Christmas list.
As children we believed
The grandest sight to see
Was something lovely wrapped beneath the tree.
But, Heaven only knows
That packages and bows
Can never heal a hurting human soul.
No more lives torn apart,
That wars would never start,
And time would heal all hearts.
And everyone would have a friend,
And right would always win,
And love would never end, no,
This is my grown-up Christmas list.
What is this illusion called the innocence of youth?
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth.
(No more) No more lives torn apart,
(And wars would) never start,
(And time would heal) all hearts.
Everyone would have a friend,
(And right) would always win,
That love would never end, no,
This is my grown-up Christmas list,
This is my only lifelong wish.
This is my Grown-Up Christmas List.

chat buddy

last night i was chatting with my 7 year old nephew Miguel who is in manila right now...
it took him a long time typing but i dont mind (for some reason, our voice chat was lousy)..
at least his spelling was right.
and mind you..he is a conyo kid..
he doesn't like his Filipino subject.
and he doesn't understand much tagalog..
one time he said he wanted to be an english teacher because he wanted to teach his friends from church who doesn't speak english..but then he changed his mind after a few days because he said they understand eachother naman..he speaks in english, his friends speak in tagalog..they get along well..haha
on the other side of the world:

my niece Katrina speaks in tagalog naman.. her parents are training her to speak in tagalog first because when she goes to school, she'll pick up the english language right away.oo nga naman..may tama ka!
when we watch game ka na ba?, she answers Game na! with all her might...
they're thousands of miles away but they're so alike..both loves the tv...both loves to eat...both eat non-kiddie food (you dont have to order a different meal for them when they're eating out) and most especially they both are soo good looking.whatever they wear whether its pangbahay na butas butas or gimik clothes, they really do look good.haha..there goes the proud tita...
whacko
i don't know whats with me and those horror movies..i'm such a scaredycat but i always watch the scary movies..even if it means i need my two hands to cover my face and leave a small gap in between my fingers so i can see whats happening...or changing the channel before some ghosts appear in front of the tv..then not being able to move my body because i'm too scared..or go to the bathroom alone or if i do, look around and see if the coast is clear...
im sure there are a lot of people who are like this also..
i'll never learn to stop watching those movies..hahahamalakas ang loob pero duwag...
the NBA experience
i watched the philadelphia 76ers vs Miami Heat...the 76ers lost but it was a good game..kahit papano they did their best..but lost steam at the end...one guy in front of us was screaming like hell..looks like he doesn't do anything with his life but to watch NBA..good thing he was only talking to the men beside him.good thing the other people beside him didnt beat him up..
pics before the game:

it really feels different watching NBA on tv and live..well same goes with UAAP at home and live..magkaiba pero parehong nakaka-high..like grapes and apples...i like them both but you cant compare them coz they're different! hehe..
my handwriting looks better here than on paper!
What does your handwriting say about YOU?
say cheeeese!
idle time...busy camera
im bringin this kid home

we've been hit by a snow storm.i woke up at 5am and looked at the window..i can see the outside glowing...but then when i peeped outside, the snow was really falling...i was so sleepy so i slept for another 2 hours..i wake up seeing really lots of snow..you cant even see the driveway...so we ate our breakfast then dressed up for some snow pictorials..hehe
this ain't the moon guys..

this little girl ain't no angel when she's at home
snuggle snuggle!

lejano ka nga!
lejano trademark: always nakadekwatro (crossed legs)..
i never really thought of this but one time when me and my cousins were still young..we had this family reunion..it was an overnight thingy...the kids slept together...as it turned out all the cousins were sleeping with crossed legs..now my pamangkin miguel and katrina are like that..
one..two..three...cheeeeeseee!
its one of those days that you try to take a picture of her and she smiles for the camera..but then at the back of the camera is tita pat and her mommy bribing her with her favorite strawberries..hehe..
see everything comes with a price..nothing is free anymore..
at the Coppola Chateau
the holiday season is right around the corner....we're gonna need some of these...
